Tiki Bar.. Bad News .. Good News

The Bad News

It is with a heavy hart  to report that we have to report  a casualty at the Tiki Bar

Our faithful OPEN sign has broken, it was my fault, I placed it in a precarious position while trying to protect it  from the winds we have been having, placing it in a soft cooler, where the fur kids could accidentally step on it.

So, now the folks that are current neighbors of mine have indicated they will now be on the prowl for a suitable digital replacement .... Cool ... time to upgrade from the old stuff

The Good News

The a fore mentioned neighbors and I made a trip during the last few days to Mexico (surprising I know)
It was determined that the Tiki Bar needed a mascot ....... so, here he is:

Meet Pedro the Tiki Bar Perot

For now Pedro will replace the OPEN sign as our welcoming to all who would like to stop by
It is possible ... that Pedro may have some observations during his travels

We are now on the lookout for a small NEW OPEN Sign possibly a digital LED one..

Rainbows, Chemtrails & a Sunset

One thing about living in a trailer with big windows .. you are much closer to weather events than when sitting in a house.

Since last night we have had almost 1/2 inch of rain, a brief bout with pea size hail, a little breeze to keep the wind charger operating

So, here are a few photos:

Nothing like a little chemtrail action at sunset (bastards)

More aluminum & barium

Classic Southwest Photo

Not much going on ... Except the weather, we received 1/10th  inch of rain, predicted to be a low of 33 degrees tonight,

Below a picture worth using as a background picture, I may redesign the blog header with this photo

I was watching a local tv news propaganda show that were predicting low temps in the 40's
Below is a pic of the script reader at a local mall taking donations of blankets
At the time of the pic the temps are in the 60's she has a coat and scarf on
