100 year or 500 year flood ?

 100 or 500 years ? it depends which state controlled media outlet you listen to.

and where you are, if you are in Lyons, or Millican it's a 500 year one.

It has rained for 4 days here which is quite unusual in this semi arid climate of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. We have received our total annual amount of rainfall in 2 days

This morning Interstate 25 was closed because of flooding, so we stayed put until noon.

Then we ventured out to the store to check things out...

The St Vrain river flowing from the campground on the west, going under the bridge on I-25 flowing to the east, destine for the South Platte River

There are also a few RV dealerships south of the state park, the water has receded about a foot when these photos were taken
