She used Solar Power, rain water collection for water and sanitation.
Although I believe she should pay a little amount for use of the sewer system (unless she has her own septic system)
I find it quite telling there has been no notable commentary from the self serving greenie folks...

After a Fox affiliate did a feature story on the off-grid lifestyle of a Cape Coral, FL woman she was almost immediately hit with an eviction order from the city which cited “international code” as a reason for turfing the woman out of her own home because she was not dependent on city water or electricity supplies.
Just one day after the feature story about how Robin
Speronis was living off’ grid by generating her own power via solar
panels and collecting rainwater, city code enforcement officers visited
her home to declare it unfit for human habitation. The code enforcers
were able to make this determination despite not even venturing inside
Speronis’ house.
“There’s a good chance they just looked at the water
bill for that address and realized the city monopoly had been thwarted,”
reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Despite the fact that Speronis’ home looks the same as
every other on her street from the outside, because she is not dependent
on government, the state is presumably worried about the threat of a
good example and is attempting to evict her from her own fully owned
property.
A city code compliance manager told Fox 4 that the
eviction notice was issued because the home did not have running water
or electricity.
Furthermore, the notice posted to Speronis’ property by
city officials cites “international property maintenance code” as a
justification for the eviction.
The ‘international property maintenance code’ is a lengthy set of regulations published by the International Code Council which, although not law, are “available for adoption and use by jurisdictions internationally.”
The regulations are another example of how global directives in the spirit of the United Nation’s Agenda 21
are being imposed on Americans outside of the law which eviscerate
traditional property rights as defined by constitutional protections.
Agenda 21 demands that member nations adopt “sustainable
development” policies that are little more than a disguise for the
reintroduction of neo-feudalism and only serve to reduce living
standards and quality of life.
In response to the eviction threat, residents rallied in
support of Speronis, filing hundreds of complaints with the city
council, while attorney Todd Allen said that the city’s powers of
eviction were non-existent.
“Cape Coral needs to be afraid of me. I’m not afraid of them,” said Speronis.

The overnight temps hover around 15 degrees, the ponds have about 3 inches of ice covering them, so the only way to install the diffuser that set at the bottom of the ponds is to chip a hole in the ice and drop them down.
This is the first pond that supplies irrigation water for the championship golf course on the ranch
This is the second pond to receive an Aeration System.
The ice is a good three inches thick and smooth, this pond is a fishing pond that is used for folks that vacation here to fish in, either on their own of with a resort guide..
This is pond #3, a smaller pond higher up the hill that is fed by the mountains to the west.
The ice here is a little thicker. the last 2 ponds are quite a distance from traditional grid power, this pond will get 2 Off Grid Solar Aeration Systems,
Each Solar system has 2 diffusers, Tyler is making more holes ....
The second Solar Aerator System for this pond is being moved to the other side of the pond, we are taking advantage of the ice to transport across the pond.
This is Pond #4 This pond is fairly close to the 3rd pond but only assessable by foot, the last Solar Aeration System was hand carried to this location not a small feat ....

This is Pond #1 ( the irrigation pond) the following day even after low temps of around 15 degrees the night before, this pond recieved our Lake Aeration System using a 3/4 hp rotary compressor, with 4 of the 8 diffusers installed this is a grid powered system, (more hose is required to install the remaining diffusers)
This the Pond #2 (Lost Lake) the following day.
This pond recieved our Lake Aerator Kit #2 with 8 diffusers, 800 ft of Self Sinking Tubing, using a 3/4hp rotary compressor that is grid powered.
At least half of the lake is free from ice.
This photo shows a diffuser that is 300 ft away from the compressor and eastern shoreline, this is a single diffuser setting at a depth of 15ft.
The open water to the left is another diffuser that is 200ft away from the compressor, setting at about 15 ft deep.
This shows the open water from pond #3 (Foley Lake) using our Solar Aeration System with a digital timer and backup battery power, and solar panel charging system.
The timer is set to run at 6am and stops running at 1pm.

Montana Mountain Man Arrested for Trying to Feed Himself, Leaves Judge Speechless
In a packed courtroom, 52-year-old Ernie Tertelgte told the judge “I am a living man protected by natural law and I have the right to forage for food when I am hungry… You are trying to create a fictitious, fraudulent action.”
Charged with fishing without a license and resisting the arrest for fishing without a license, Mr. Tertegte says he’s being wrongly prosecuted for trying to feed himself.

Ernie Tertelgte says he's being wrongly prosecuted against "natural law" and the right to life for trying to feed himself. He was arrested on Monday and is accused of fishing without a license and resisting arrest. His defense of sovereignty is pretty epic.
Natural Living Man goes back . . . way back - to a time that demanded strict adherence to justice. He won't kiss the robe, he won't bow the knee. Ernie Wayne Tertelgte is a 52-year-old Manhattan, Montana man living under natural law.
This video shows the heated exchange between himself, acting as his own defender, and Three Forks City Judge, Wanda Drusch, from earlier this month. You will need to turn up the volume:
At one moment, he pointed to the courtroom flag and said:
That is the Jolly Roger, that thing you call the American flag with the gold fringe around it is the Jolly Roger, and you are acting as one of its privateers!
He was referencing the courtroom flag with gold fringe, a symbol of maritime law, meaning the practice of law outside the United States - arguably, the much bigger obstruction of justice.
He schools the courtroom on Constitutional-bound law.
He told the judge "Do not tell me to shut-up!"
The officer does not comply with her request to remove him from the court.
When she finally needs to leave out of frustration - signaling an abrupt end to the hearing - he calls out:
No way - get back here and finish this! Hey, hey! Get back here and finish this!Family and friends packed his court hearings to support him and the Constitution. Extra law enforcement were called into subsequent hearings for Tertelgte.
Another judge has set his bond to $500 and another hearing is scheduled for January.

A life such as Tertelgte's would demand a lot of integrity, and you can see that it left the judge flustered.
His arrest and appearance in court show how severe the punishment is for ever attempting to live outside the confines of government rule . . . over fishing.
Some might argue, what good are you sitting in jail over a fishing license?
But then what does it mean if you are not entitled to feed yourself?
Last year, the Amish in Kentucky decided that they would not pay exorbitant tickets over bright orange buggy signs that violated their deeply held religious beliefs. Also concerned about safety, they had initially asked for grey reflectors. Paying the fines would mean admitting wrongdoing, a lie. After so many of them wound up in the courts and in jail, it became absurd - lawmakers got the hint.

I am just Fred
An Arizona Highway Patrol officer stops a Harley for traveling faster than the posted speed limit, so he asks the biker his name. ‘Fred,’ he replies.
‘Fr…ed what?’ the officer asks.
‘Just Fred,’ the man responds.
The officer is in a good mood, thinks he might just give the biker a break, and write him out a warning instead of a ticket. The officer then presses him for the last name.
The man tells him that he used to have a last name but lost it.
The officer thinks that he has a nut case on his hands but plays along with it. ‘Tell me, Fred, how did you lose your last name?’
The biker replies, ‘It’s a long story, so stay with me.’
I was born Fred Johnson. I studied hard and got good grades. When I got older, I realized that I wanted to be a doctor. I went through college, medical school, internship, residency, and finally got my degree, so I was Fred Johnson, MD.
After a while I got bored being a doctor, so I decided to go back to school. Dentistry was my dream! Got all the way through School, got my degree, so then I was Fred Johnson, MD, DDS.
Got bored doing dentistry, so I started fooling around with my assistant and she gave me VD, so now I was Fred Johnson, MD, DDS, with VD.
Well, the ADA found out about the VD, so they took away my DDS. Then I was Fred Johnson, MD, with VD. Then the AMA found out about the ADA taking away my DDS because of the VD, so they took away my MD leaving me as Fred Johnson with VD.
Then the VD took away my Johnson, so now I am Just Fred.’ The officer walked away in tears, laughing.
